School management software prices in Pakistan (2026)
Per-student, flat-package and one-time licence pricing compared, what drives a quote up, and how to compare vendors fairly at your student count.
School management software in Pakistan is priced in one of three ways: per student per month, a flat monthly package, or a one-time licence with an annual maintenance fee. EDUTIG uses flat monthly packages, free for schools of up to 100 students and from USD 11.99 to USD 39.99 a month above that. This guide explains how each model behaves as your school grows, and how to compare any two quotes fairly.
How is school management software priced in Pakistan?
Whatever a brochure says, almost every vendor's price resolves to one of these three models. Each one shifts the risk differently.
| Model | How it works | Watch for |
|---|---|---|
| Per student, per month | You pay for each enrolled student, so the bill tracks admissions. | The bill grows with every admission, and vendors differ on whether withdrawn or alumni records still count. |
| Flat monthly package | A fixed price per tier of school size. EDUTIG works this way. | Check where the tier boundaries fall against your projected enrolment, and whether every tier includes every module. |
| One-time licence plus maintenance | A large payment up front, then an annual fee for updates and support. Common with older desktop software. | The up-front figure hides the real cost: server hardware, backups and the annual fee usually sit outside it. |
What does EDUTIG cost?
These are the published packages as of September 2026, per school per month, and every package includes the whole product. The current figures are always on the pricing page.
| Package | School size | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | Up to 100 students | Free to use |
| Essential | 101 to 350 students | USD 11.99 a month |
| Growth | 351 to 850 students | USD 23.99 a month |
| Enterprise | 851 students and above | USD 39.99 a month |
The paid packages start with three days free, and Starter needs no card at all. Prices are billed in USD; the rupee equivalent follows the exchange rate on the day you pay.
What drives a quote up?
- Setup and data migration. Moving years of student, fee and staff records out of registers or spreadsheets takes real work. Ask whether it is included, and who does the typing.
- Messaging charges. SMS and WhatsApp messages are billed by a messaging provider per message, on top of any software fee. A school that sends fee reminders to a thousand families every month should price this separately.
- Training and support tiers. A low headline price with paid support can cost more in a hard month than a higher price with support included.
- Per-campus charges. If you run more than one campus, ask whether the price is per campus or per school group before anything else.
- Module unlocks. Some vendors price a core and sell fees, payroll or portals as add-ons. Compare quotes with every module you need switched on.
How do you compare two vendors fairly?
Put both quotes on the same footing before you look at either number: the same student count, every module you need, setup and training included, and messaging charges estimated at your real volume. Then ask both for the renewal price in writing.
